Long before yoga became associated with flexibility or fitness, it was a complete system for body, breath, mind, and consciousness. Postures were preparation. Our Classical Haṭha Yoga Foundation is designed for anyone who wants to move beyond simply practising yoga and begin understanding it. Whether you’re new to yoga, a dedicated practitioner, or a teacher strengthening your foundation, this course offers a structured introduction to principles that have guided yoga for thousands of years. At Yogshala, we don’t simply teach you what to practise—we teach you why. ⸻ What You’ll Learn Master the Complete Surya Namaskāra Surya Namaskāra (Sun Salutation) is widely practised, yet few understand its traditional significance.
